Hello again friends, It’s November and the temperatures have really started to feel cooler. I try to go outise and enjoy it everyday when I can. I hope you are all healthy and doing well.
This is this month of November to me is very family oriented. I like being with my family and I hope this feeling doesn’t ever change, making the house cozy and making treats and just being together. (By the way, I am not saying my family is perfect in any way.)
This month of November in America we celebrate Thanksgiving a day dedicated to gratitude to God for all His blessings to us theoughout the year, as I am sure you may know.
This reminds me of a scene I like in the movie Eat Pray Love. When Elizabeth Gilbert is in Italy with the friends she’s made there and spent months with and they are celebrating thanksgiving at at friends house and are all sitting in the dinning table and Elizabeth asks them to share something they are greatful for, and when it is her own turn she says, “I look at the amazing women I’ve met and admire so much, and the great men taking care of their women and putting their children to bed. I just feel happy to see it and to be part of it. I am the luckiest girl in the world. Salute!”
And I think that’s it! That’s the point of life I guess, to be grateful to be where we are and happy to a part of it, this life, and to be a part of the lives of those in our lives.
So in conclusion, my hope is that you take care of yourselves, mentally, physically and spiritually. Sometimes we put a lot of pressure on ourselves and overwork ourselves. In the past 2 years as a collective world we have gone through a lot.
Let’s enjoy the Thanksging days that we get to spend with our loved ones. And hopefully we will be a beautiful time, no arguing, just peace and joy and unity.
