Hello again friends! I truly hope you have been having a beautiful, fun and restful summer. For me last month wasn’t the best for me in regards to my mental health, but gratefully I am beginning to feel more like myself! Thanks to God! One thing I have come to realize and is getting more ingrained in my life is the need for rest, routines/rhythms, and fun!! Life cannot be lived by just going through life, busy and working but without actually being aware or knowing what it is that YOU enjoy doing for yourself, in the most honest and genuine way possible for YOURSELF.
Because we live in a broken world and this side of heaven we will face trails. So I guess we better learn how to take ownership of our lives and learn how to live in the best way possible for the good of our families, neighbors, world and ourselves. But this is journey we are each given or that we decide to follow that call to change something in our lives for the better.
I am certain that even though sometimes things seem impossible and like there’s no way out God has already made a way out you just need to ask Him and He will rescue you! 🙂 He has already done the work ahead of us. By sending Jesus, His only Son, to pay the penalty for our sins(everything that is against God’s standard of Holiness) and He bore our sins on His own body like if they were His and shed His blood on a cross, the most humiliating and painful death, four me and for you. But He didn’t leave things there, He finished his work by rising from the dead, just as it is written in the Scriptures. “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 1 Corinthians 15:55-57 Source: https://www.bible.com/bible/114/1CO.15.55-57.NKJV
The definition of grace could be “God’s life, power and righteousness given to us by unmerited favor.” It is through grace that God works effective change in our hearts and lives. Grace gives us a new life which is not condemned by God. Source: https://www.marionstar.com/story/life/2019/01/19/pastor-what-grace-god-does-us/2569447002/
