Favorites Christmas Playlist 2020

In the words of Buddy the elf, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear” and I couldn’t agree more! I started listening to Christmas music after Thanksgiving and that just made things seem like Christmas was coming.

There is so much expectation this season of Christmas, like there is something more to this life than all the stuff we work for and things we are su blessed to have, but it’s true that expectation is a longing we have in our hearts a longing for a relationship with our creator. In the Old Testament in Ecclesiastes 3:11 it says “… he has put eternity into man’s heart.”

Whether you believe in God or in eternity after life, go out into Nature and listen to the birds and the wind and look at the trees, plants and flowers and insects around, and think about this, God has placed eternity in your heart. There is more to life than these 80 years we might get to live if we survive, right. And why is this season called Christmas? As the Bible says God sent His son into the world, to save us from the bondage of that sinful nature that makes us do evil, or sin and will separate us from God for all eternity.

There is nothing we can do on our own. We can try to be perfect and only do good but we will mess up and get tired we need someone who is greater than anything else in this universe to help us. And His name is Jesus, he loves you and he didn’t come to judge or condemn, he came to save us all because of His great love for us. I don’t know about you but this gives me hope and joy and strength to face life because I know Jesus is with me wherever I go. Matthew 28:20 “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.””
