Self-care Bucket List February 2024

Hello! February is here! And with it the month of Love and an extra day for the month of February.

This month’s Self-care Bucket List is all about pampering yourself at home, making your space comfy, clean, fun and creative.

Well, to update you dear readers, last month was my birthday and I am now 34… but seriously, I’ve been thinking first off that I am grateful to be in my 30’s and second that when my Mom was in her 30’s she was married and already had me and my siblings as children. She looked great too! And she’s still married to my Dad! What a great example they both are to us.

But perhaps this is a reminder that life is different for each and everyone of us, and it is up to us to make the most with the time that is given to us, like Gandalf said to Frodo. I update you with that about my birthday, because I don’t know if anyone else in their thirties is also feeling like me. At home doing the daily chores and trying also to get some excercise in, but feeling tired all the time as well. Or maybe that’s just me??Anyway enough rambling. And on to this treat for the month! My February 2024 Self-care Bucket List:

1-Buy yourself flowers.

2-Get your hair done.

3-Dress up nice for yourself (daily).

4-Wear a nice lipstick.

5-Go out for walks.

6-Send a Galentines note/text to your best friends!

7-Take vitamins/supplements (just reminding us).

8-Go on a date with your partner(spouse) or alone (single or not single)

9-Organize and declutter your bedroom.

10-Do a facemask or a spa night.

Bonus: Be yourself and enjoy your life today! Because this is the only one we get to live and as we enjoy it and make the most of it. We might want to remember that God reigns over all and that it matters that we do what is right and good in this life. Like the Great King Solomon said in his book Ecclesistes.

”Young people, it’s wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do.

So refuse to worry, and keep your body healthy. But remember that youth, with a whole life before you, is meaningless.“
