August 2025 Bucket List

Hello again! Wouldn’t it be nice if we knew what was ahead in time? As I was writing this Bucket List, I thought if only I knew what the month would look like I’d let you know the right things to do this month. But as we all know life id not like that, we get to live it day by day, second by second, breath by breath. Only God knows what’s ahead! And I find that to be comforting in a way. I don’t need to worry about the future because I know the One who holds the world in His hands. And I am happy to leave the future in His hands alone.

I hope you’ve had a good start to the month of August! 

No longer do I look at life as a place to gain things, you know what I mean? Gain status, gain success, gain a higher this or that. For me life has changed, for the better. God has allowed me to realize that truly what matters most in this life is Him.

Now, I knew that! I just hadn’t learned that! Some things are meant to be experienced not just had as head knowledge. We know that! Lol. But only when we live like we do, do we truly know. Haha. God is good, I realized it. What matters is Him.

Why? What do I mean? He matters to me in my life because He’s been good to me. He gave me eternal life in Jesus Christ. And that is the ultimate gift ever given in the history of humankind, of the world!

Why does His name make such a difference in people’s lives? He is God’s only Son, that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. His Name is above all other names! And at His Name every living being will bow at His feet.  (Philippians 2:9-11) I don’t say this, it is written in Scripture in the Holy Bible. Read the book of Revelation chapter 22 verses 6 through 21.

Revelation 22:6-21

Jesus Is Coming

⁶ And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place.”

⁷ “And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

⁸ I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, ⁹ but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

¹⁰ And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. ¹¹ Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”

¹² “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. ¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

¹⁴ Blessed are those who wash their robes,^[a] so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. ¹⁵ Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

¹⁶ “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

¹⁷ The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.

¹⁸ I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, ¹⁹ and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

²⁰ He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

²¹ The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.^[b] Amen.

He’s coming back soon, are you prepared? There’s still time, come to Him now that you are here. This is His call to you if you’ve “never felt called” to Him, take this as that call! You are not late. You are right on time.

Pray to Him right now: Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, forgive me of my sins. I believe that you died on a cross for my sins and that you rose from the dead on the third day. Come and live inside my heart. Seal me with your Holy Spirit. You are now my Lord and King. In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.

May I be the first to welcome you to the body of Christ!? What a privilege! Dear friend, find a body of believers nearby, a church to attend in person. God wants us to meet with others who know Him too. And either download the free YouVersion of the Bible app or buy yourself a paper copy, I use a paper copy. Start by reading it! Read the Psalms, Proverbs and the Book of John to know more about Jesus our Savior and obey His commands which are not heavy. And always remember He loves you so much!

3- Enjoy the last bits of summer outdoors.

4- Do acts of kindness toward others.

5- Read a new book.

6- Get a new planner.

7- Read the Bible daily.

8- Enjoy lemonades.

9-Do your nails weekly.

10-Enjoy your family.
