May Bucket List 2025 (*Letting Go Edition)

Hello Friends! I love writing my bucket lists every month, though I have to admit to you, sometimes…I don’t know what to do/write. Haha. Which is why I did not write an April Bucket List. But always at the end of the month I can refresh my mind about what were the little things that made my days enjoyable.

Lately I’ve been learning the meaning of really letting go of control or of trying to control life, my life and the outcomes. I think this is a very necessary lesson to learn in life. Grateful I get to learn that. For me letting go of control is going more with the flow of life. I can’t make anything happen by force or determination. You just got to let it go and flow with the rhythm of life. I think as women we may have this need for control ingrained in us. It comes from fear, a fear to fail, a fear of abandonment, a fear of not feeling secure. As women we crave and desire safety and security, it’s just a fact, written in our biology.

So to let go you need to feel secure in yourself, that you can handle whatever may come your way in life. And to have trust that everything is working out for your good. God’s got the whole world in His hands, He has got you too! He also says this in Scripture that “God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

Instead of seeing unpredictability as a threat, view it as an opportunity for growth. Some of life’s most magical moments come from the unexpected.
