November 2024 Self-Care Bucket List

Hello Friends,

I am back! Thank you for your patience in waiting for my blog posts. It was an emergency break from all online interactions. But I am here again.

The older I get the more I have become aware of the need for self-care and personal time. It sounds silly say out loud to me, but a couple of minutes a day of alone time are necessary for me lol.

This month I have been working on getting in a daily walk, or to play pickleball (not good at it yet), journaling at night and  taking my supplements consistently (hopelessly trying to lol).

Journaling helps me a ton! It allows me to express myself freely and without inhibitions, I pray there, I write lists etc…

My walks are a must as well, there is nothing like getting some sun and enjoying the breeze and seeing the birds and squirrels running around. Something else I have been enjoying is doing my nails every week at home, picking a color and doing them myself. I used to not paint them at all that much, but now I enjoy doing them. lol.

1-Doing my nails at home weekly

2-Getting sunlight in the afternoon and walking

3-Nightly journaling

4-Spending time with my family

5-Reading a book as I rest

6-Baking and cooking new recipes

7-Writing a gratitude list of 3 thing I am grateful for about myself

8-Writing a 3 things I am encouraging and believing for greater things about myself

9-Writing 3 things I am grateful to God for.

10-Taking some time for myself/alone time to rest and recharge.
