August 2021 Bucket List

Hello again friends! We’re half way through August and this month I’ve not been too well with my mental health, if you didn’t know I suffer from anxiety and depression and sometimes I am much better than others but this past month I have not been too well. So I wanted to make this month’s bucket list more about keeping daily routines and how to stay mentally healthy and have a more balanced life, specially after being unwell for a while.

Something I’ve learned is that anxiety and depression or any mental illness or any illness and just life in general requires for us to be perseverant and to have endurance. Specially when things are the darkest, hardest and when you are most fearfull and have anxiety.

We can have hope though, God has already won the battle for us we just have to do things in His strength.

A change of mindset is essential!
Don’t listen to the negative and depressing thoughts that might pop in your head. Talk with someone who can help and will be a listening ear. Remember those thoughts are not yours! I recommend you listen to some of the Christian Worship music it really changes the mind. Of course sometimes you want variety and it’s ok to listen to what will be of benefit to your mind. But don’t dwell on the sad songs or dark music friends, instead fill your mind with encouragement.

Read in the Bible the book of Psalms, they are prayers that King David and others made to God in their distress and the Lord answered them. Cry out to God with all your insecurities and worries and fears. He will do what He promises.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

Here is friends my August Bucket List:
